Paul DuHamel has been doing business as Images in Harmony for the past few years. Mr. DuHamel was employed as a high school art teacher for 30 years. During his tenure, he served as the Yearbook Advisor for 25 years. He received a BA in Art Education in 1973 and an MAT in Art Education in 1992. In 1990, Mr. DuHamel earned his certification in counseling for secondary level students. As a high school art teacher, Mr. DuHamel taught courses in Drawing, Figure Drawing, Foundations in Art, Photography, Graphic Publications (Pagemaker) Photography (Silver Based) and Digital Photography. He also taught numerous courses in the Adult Education Program including Drawing, Figure Drawing, Graphic Publications (Pagemaker), (Silver Based) and Digital Photography and watercolors.
  Technology evolved over Mr. DuHamel's teaching career from "paste up" to digital layout and from film to digital photography. His dedication to remaining current with the latest technologies has enabled him to be well versed in layout design, typography, graphic design and photography. He has studied the History of Photography since he was in high school. During his high school years, Mr. DuHamel began collecting cameras and collecting continues today.
  Many of his former students have gone on to successful careers in publishing, illustration and photography, web design and teaching.
  Since his retirement from teaching, Mr. DuHamel has been working as a commercial photographer on assignments including architecture, interiors, golf courses, portraits, family portraits and weddings. He also continues to contribute to his personal photographic art gallery of black and white and color photography. His digital images are available here and are sold as enlargements and cards. Working as a free-lance photographer, Mr. DuHamel has photographed school events for Maré Studios of East Providence and New Bedford. Mr. DuHamel also teaches art classes at The Putnam Science Academy, The Purple Piano in Greenville R.I. and at his home in Glocester RI.
  About 35 years ago, Mr. DuHamel purchased glass negatives of historical Rhode Island images. Included in his collection are images of the construction of the RI State House. They have been printed into offset lithographic images for display and are available for purchase as enlargements, postcards or as folded note cards with envelopes.
